Success Mindset Part 3

THINK BIG VS JUST TRYING TO GET THROUGH THE DAY
Just trying to make it through the day is like just making it till month end and then eventually till
ashes trying to survive. There is a difference between making a living and life itself. Time flies so
trying to make ends meet will be as repetitive as the breath in your lungs. If you don’t start thinking
big, you will stay small, if you don’t start thinking big the struggle will never end. Try living and not
making a living. Try for more than mediocrity. It’s not easy, peoples brains are hardwired to resist
what makes them feel uncomfortable, so we don’t aim big, we don’t push ourselves if it wasn’t so
then the 1 percenter of the wold would be the 100 percenters of the world. It goes against instinct to
be the top 1% of the world. Comparing yourself to the room your in, is infinitely smaller than the
world out there, so why be average, why compare yourself to Johnny when Johnny might only be
ranked 5.3 billion in the sales success hierarchy. You need to think big vs just trying to make it till the
end of the day.

CONSISTENT VS IRREGULARITIES
Success is more a mindset than a skill set. We live our lives on auto pilot, we are creatures of habit,
and if you want a high-performance culture you need to embody that every day, so that it becomes
a habit. To live at your potential, you must do so consistently. Consistency is the only way to be at
your best. A synonym for constant is reliable, can you depend on your self to do what it takes every
day, not just when its easy? The ability to remain constant through adversity is greater than flowing
with the tide, because tides change direction. Tides rise and fall.

SHOW GRATITUDE VS CRITICIZING
Being grateful is a sign of positivity, it shows that you assess the good in situations, criticizing shows
that you assess the bad in situations. Not being able to see what’s right or positive and always
finding flaws for disapproval is blinding to opportunity. It becomes a mindset that Affects you negatively,
in fact it’s a serious symptom of depression and unhappiness. In that state of mind, it’s nearly impossible
to succeed in your goals.

PROBLEM SOLVING VS PROBLEM SEEKING AND DWELLING
Let me ask you this, looking for problems and then complaining about them, what does that
achieve? Think about it complaining about something implies you want someone else to fix it,
because if it was up to you alone then you wouldn’t complain you would just solve the problem. So
why then look at other to solve your problems? Doesn’t everyone have their own problems. And if
someone is supposed to help you, then isn’t trying to find a solution the best method vs moaning,
there is nothing worse than when I see someone complain when I know they have the brain capacity
to come up with a solution. They choose to let problems beat them; they decide to be defeated by
problems vs solving them. It’s an easy way out, it’s an excuse to fail, and be average. The biggest
mistake managers make is solve all their staffs’ issues, because they create a culture of the company
will solve all issues and issues are and scapegoat for poor performance. Instead create a culture of
problem solving and see what happens.

INNOVATION VS GOLDFISH SWIMMING IN A BOWL
Innovation is the process of new change and revolution. To be successful you can’t repeatedly do the
same thing and expect different results. Waking up every Monday in the same situation similar to all
the previous Mondays for years, is similar to swimming in a goldfish bowl where one lap equals a
week in your life. You need to see yourself moving forward in a direction. Moving in circles implies
you will always return to the same position. Unless your super happy with that position I strongly
advice seeing progress by moving forward.

CONSISTENT VS IRREGULARITY
This is a paramount, what has ever made it into the Gunnies book of records through inconsistency.
It’s similar to losing weight, you can’t lose weight until you consistently train, eat right and change
your lifestyle for a decent period of time, it doesn’t happen overnight. You need to consistently work
towards achieving your goal. Bit by bit till its done.

UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INFLATED VIEWS OF ONESELF AND POTENTIAL
This is one of the biggest hindrances to growth. Living life in the grandeur illusion of one’s greater
self. Having an inflated view of yourself in your current state rather than accepting your current level
and having a higher view of your potential. Yes, we should all have confidence in who we are, and we
should all think highly of what we can become or what we are capable of. It’s an important form of
excelling towards our best self. Just don’t live in an inflated illusion that you believe that you are
already at that point, because that stops you from becoming your best self. It’s about knowing your
current level is not yet your full potential, so don’t act as if it is.

GREAT SELF-WORTH VS LACKING SELF-WORTH.
Don’t get this one mixed with the previous point. Its important to feel worthy and embody your
self-worth. If you don’t have self-worth, how can you expect to be treated as someone of value? If
you can’t take yourself seriously no one else will. In order to be taken valuably you need to feel inner
value. Believe in yourself and show it in your physiology, and people will be drawn to that.

CONFIDENT IN YOUR RESOLVE VS DOUBTING AND WITHDRAWING FROM ACTION
The ability to stand strong, the vision to accept and overcome challenges. The confidence and
self-worth to avoid people saying you can’t do it. The boldness to go for what you want and the
relentlessness to get what you want vs having doubt and withdrawing from action

RISK TAKER VS RISK ADVERSE
There is an old saying, “nothing ventured nothing gained\”. The biggest risks have the biggest
reward. Go big or go home. Simple. You need to risk it to get the biscuit. Lol, okay, I will stop. You get
the point without risk your playing it safe. Being afraid to take risks means you step aside and let
other people achieve things while you stand on the side lines of life, never accomplishing the things
you are capable of. Imagine dying without ever knowing how great you could have been. In my
opinion it is a waste of life. Your chances of living and being born are 1 : 400,000,000,000 so don’t
take it lightly that you are here…. Do something about it.

HAS EXPECTATIONS VS GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU ASK FOR
Setting expectations is vital, having purpose, intent, vision, goals, and specific direction allows you to
act accordingly. If you have no expectations, then you get exactly what you ask for, because
anything is anything when asked for anything.

ATTITUDE VS ATTITUDE
Attitude is a way of thinking about something. This goes back to my first point.
The thoughts you feed yourself which dictate your actions and results are the difference between
successful mindsets and unsuccessful mindsets. All 33 points I’ve listed here are a way of thinking
and feeling that will get you to where you want to be. Embody them.
